The Charlatans gig has been rescheduled for Friday 8th November at St George’s Hall

Back in August the Liverpool International Music festival’s collaboration with Freeze to bring the Charlatans to the city was sadly postponed due to the tragic death of the Charlatans drummer Jon Brookes. The drummer was the subject of many tributes from his peers in the aftermath of his passing, including Rob da Bank, former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr and lead singer Tim Burgess, who wrote this memoir in the NME.

The date has since been rescheduled, and tickets are now on sale for the event on November 8th. They will still be joined by Greg Wilson and local heroes The Tea Street Band, as referenced in the original news article, with some minor tweaks to the rest of the bill.

All original tickets are valid for the event, with the remainder on sale now.
