Freeze have always been about the partnership. Whether bringing Cadenza to St Georges Hall, Kompakt to the Bombed Out Church or Dig Deeper to Liverpool Cathedral, they’re all about different venues and combining their musical vision with others, and this summer they’ll be showing that off with aplomb.
Teaming up with former guest Greg Wilson (check him out live at Antwerp Mansion above in December 2013), they will throw three parties this summer in three different venues across the city, with the first taking them back to their spiritual home The Williamson Tunnels on Saturday 31st May for a seven hour excursion into the deeper recesses of disco, funk, house and much more.
It’ll see Wilson teaming up with long term collaborator Derek Kaye, who was part of the Freeze event which brought electronic music to the Wirral over the Easter Weekend. As ever Freeze resident Jemmy will support, and we’ll let you know more about the other dates as and when they are revealed.
